Kunal Patel

Kunal is a Vice President and Head of Partnerships Corporate M&A in Ørsted, responsible for M&A, structuring and financing in relation
to Ørsted’s offshore wind assets as well as corporate M&A activities Kunal has been with Ørsted since 2012 primarily focussed on the
farmdown activities within the company, looking to create and execute structures that attract new investors to the sector Among other
projects Kunal has most recently overseen the divestment and financing of the Walney Extension, Hornsea 1 and Greater Changhua 1
Prior to joining Ørsted Kunal worked in the infrastructure and project finance team at Barclays, working across the renewables and UK
PFI/PPP sectors Kunal holds a degree in Economics and Philosophy along with being a CFA charterholder
