Sharon Young

Dr Sharon Young is Head of Partnerships at South Thames Colleges Group (STCG), leading strategic business development and engagement across the Group, working closely with employers, local authorities, and industry partners to ensure our educational offer remains current and impactful.  STCG provides a range of short courses in renewables and comprehensive construction programmes at all levels, supported by state-of-the-art facilities. Her role is to foster collaborations that inspire learners and equip them with the skills required for the workforce of the future.

Before joining STCG, she enjoyed careers in Physiotherapy and Lecturing in Politics and Human Rights. This unique background informs her approach to partnership development, combining a passion for education, social impact, and workforce transformation.
