Manon Derelle
Manon Derelle is a Director at Baringa with over 10 years of experience, primarily in energy consulting. She leads Baringa’s renewable economics team. Her expertise is primarily focused around energy market policy, tender modelling and the energy transition.
She supports renewable developers in the commercial development of their projects and provides detailed route to market advice in the UK and in international markets such as Ireland, US, Norway and France. Over the last year, she has advised over 15 GW of offshore wind capacity across fixed bottom and floating technologies across different development stages of their project.
She also works with governments to help them define policies that facilitate renewable deployment, including in the UK, Australia and Portugal. Her team was involved in a number of studies in the UK and internationally, analysing the required regulatory framework and challenges associated with supply chain shortages.
Her wider project experience in the electricity and gas sectors spans the different levels of the value chain, including wholesale, retail and regulated assets.
Prior to joining Baringa, she worked in other consultancies as an energy economist.
