Caroline Lytton

Caroline joined SMBC in 2007 and in 2019 was appointed EMEA Head of Power & Renewables, running a loan book of over USD 8 billion. She previously spent six years as Head of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Execution, managing a multi-disciplinary team across the natural resources value chain, giving her a valuable overview of the interlinkages of energy markets.
Caroline has a strong background in both lending and advisory, and worked in the Infrastructure Project Finance team at Société Générale after starting her career at Operis. She sits on the board of the International Project Finance Association.
