Bas Simpson

Bas manages Mainstream’s global power-to-x business, supporting local development teams in identifying markets, structuring business models, and pursuing opportunities where green hydrogen can facilitate renewable developments. He holds a Masters of Engineering (Civil) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance) with First Class Honours.

Bas shares Mainstream’s passion of ‘electrifying the world with renewable energy’, using hydrogen and its energy vectors to extend the reach of renewables into the hard-to-abate sectors where fossil fuel remains the dominant source of energy.
